Posting badges to Facebook

I am using Chrome. I am logged into Facebook. My Chrome settings are allowing popups, but when I try to share the badge to get people interested in the website it simply opens a new tab and then almost immediately it closes.

I have tried checking my settings on Facebook and I do not see any. There was a topic posted, but it was over 2 years ago. Can I please get some assistance?
