Pre-existing courses changing from Silver to Gold Membership to access

When I signed up with Teamtreehouse.com I made a list of courses that I wanted to complete with my Silver Membership ($25 per month). At that time I understood that some courses and features would require Pro Membership ($50 per month), but I wasn't planning to upgrade until I had covered my initial baseline niche of interests. I have been a member since around April 2014, and now in July 2014 I have noticed that some of the courses that I have already completed now require a Pro ($50 per month) if I wished to view them again (i.e. Unit Testing for iOS, etc), even though I completed them on a Silver Membership. Also, my Profile no longer includes the evidence that I have complete the course anymore (I thought one of Teamtreehouse.com's key strategies to retain subscription customers was to allow them to maintain visibility of all their achievements). I am also locked out and unable to access (now Pro Members only can access) some of the courses that were initially available to Silver Members. I think this is unfair, as I have been a paying subscriber for at least 3 months ($75 fees) and I thought this was a fair system. If someone wanted to be unfair to Teamtreehouse.com, then instead of slowly going through the courses, they would just quickly go through all the ones they were immediately interested in within the first month for $25, and then just watch them offline for a few months before rejoining the subscription if they felt like it (at least they'd be assured that they wouldn't be locked out after the first month from accessing pre-existing content that was part of their initial subscription level).

How can I tell which Workshops are "free broadcasting", and how can I determine what date their "free broadcast" ends?

In the Compare Memberships section of our Profiles where it says "Workshops (after their free broadcast)" is only available to Gold Members. It seems that this condition of membership has caught me out and without this information being more transparent, it conflicts with my principles and values.

I imagine you'd be best off contacting support directly, rather than posting here, into the more general forum? https://teamtreehouse.com/support

Did you find an answer? This will be a huge factor in whether I continue with Treehouse or not.

No I've been too busy doing Codeschool courses to bother following it up
