Python Object-Oriented Python (retired) Objects Creating Instances

Prerequisite Lessons

Shouldn't there be a prerequisite lessons that should be taught to beginners in this video before diving into "Classes"? Like, "Strings, Variables and Python syntax" probably should have been the first few things that should be taught instead of Classes or Instances In the video (Even the instructor mentioned something about 'def' - Something that wasn't even thought) . Please correct or point me in the right direction if I am wrong.
