Preserve Original Color Of UITabBar Icon

I have a UITabBar, and the original color of the images that I have used as the UITabrBarItem's is white. However, when I use them in the project xcode automatically sets them to gray. How can I preserve this white color? I am using swift, so please make all answers in swift, thank you so much. Stone Preston
