Android Build a Simple Android App with Java Creating the Screen Layout Editing a Layout File

Preview Display in Android Studio not working

I followed all the steps in the tutorial but when I opened the activity.xml file to edit the layout, it won't display the app like its suppose to. I launched the app in the emulator and its fine but the preview doesn't work. It says there are two errors: Render Error and Failed to instantiate multiple classes.
