Privacy Policy

Hi,

I was hoping someone could shed some light onto Privacy Policies and the following:

• "Privacy Policy Generators" are all over, but how reliable are they? • Would using SimpleAuth for user registration change a typical Privacy Policy (mobile)

This is obviously pretty wide open to responses, but I am asking because I am trying to determine if it's worth having a legal firm generate my Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Any and all feedback, comments & insights would be awesome!

Thanks

  • Chris

Hi,

I think that there is no right answer to this question, especially now! It depends on each country where your website, app or any kind of product are available and where are your company, some rules are generally recognized but there may have important local differences to their application. Also some company like Apple or Microsoft, for example, apply their own rules. By the way, generator, must be used as a "bootstrap", but that does not excuse to learn from a specialized website or a lawyer.
