Problem connecting to the Code Challenge Engine

I am getting the message below: There was a problem connecting to the Code Challenge Engine: . If this problem persists, please contact support at help@teamtreehouse.com

I am able to move forward in the challenges and courses but I am always getting that message after every challenge.

I am on OSX 10.9 and using Chrome (Safari was not working at all for me).
