Problem Using Notepad instead of SUDO on WIndows

I'm on windows 10, I'm using the command "notepad" instead of "sudo" as suggested by the teacher in the previous lecture. Problem is that every time the notepad opens to write a message for instance then I don't know what to do next. If I save the message I typed on the Notepad and then I press enter in the Unix Shell then the Shell doesn't react. What should I do?

When you say 'in the previous lecture', which one are you referring to? Because you haven't asked this question on the video's page, it isn't showing which lecture you mean.
