Problem with class in java

how is possible to replace the name Yoda by only do dispenser.characterName = "Darth Vander"; order does not matter in java..??

  public static void main(String[] args) {
    // Your amazing code goes here...
    System.out.println("We are making a new PEZ Dispenser");
    PezDispenser dispenser = new PezDispenser();
    dispenser.characterName = "Darth Vander";
    System.out.printf("The dispenser is %s %n", 
                     dispenser.characterName);

I suspect your problem is here:

dispenser.characterName = "Darth Vander";

if characterName is a private member of the PezDispenser class, then you can't access it directly. You have to use a setter method as in (pseudo code):

dispenser.setCharacterName("Darth Vander");
