Ruby

problem with code challange writing tests>validations in rails course

class User < ActiveRecord::Base devise :database_authenticatable, :registerable, :recoverable, :rememberable, :trackable, :validatable

attr_accessible :email, :password, :password_confirmation, :remember_me, :first_name, :last_name, :profile_name

 validates :first_name, presence: :true
validates :last_name, presence: :true
validates :profile_name, presence: :true

end

The above code is giving me an error - make sure you are validating the presence of first_name.

Try true instead of :true. The keyword true is not a symbol

thanks - that fixed it
