Problem with image loading in Google Chrome from Sublime 2 (Module "Text Editors & HTML)

Hi!

Exactly as the topic suggests, I'm having an issue with my images showing up in Google Chrome after saving my index.html and refreshing the page. I made a folder on my desktop named "img," downloaded a random .gif of a cupcake, named it logo, but when I reference the file path, it fails to load the image onto the web page.

Am I doing something wrong?

http://s1264.photobucket.com/user/savil1/media/imageloadfailindex-html.jpg.html

For some reason i can't get a code box to show on this post, but my line appears like this "img src="img/logo.gif" alt="Smells Like Bakin"," withholding the <> and extra quotations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need an answer to this to (Windows 8). Please respond someone! :)

Hi Andrew and Adam,

Where on your computer is your index.html file saved?

My index.html is saved in the same folder as the logo.gif file. To be more specific, C:/Users/Andrew/Desktop/img/logo.gif .

Don't worry about mine. So as to not confuse things I'll just follow what you tell Andrew. Thanks!

This was what I had at the end of the lesson. I never did figure out how to make the images appear once the html file was loaded into the Google Chrome browser. Apparently, I don't know how to make a code box with these forums so my my html snippet has been truncated.
