Problem with my floating horizontal nav bar

Hi guys, reviewing this video: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/css-layout-basics/css-layout-project/column-layout-with-media-queries

I don't understand because I think I've written exactly what Guil wrote in his code but in contrast to him, in my nav bar, after the floating process, a technical issue shows up. Indeed, Best Guide and the nav bar are NOT on the same line... I could "fix" it with some margin properties but is there any "more professional way" to fix this issue. I used "clearfix" like him, but I don't get the same result, BestCityGuide is centered vertically in its header but the nav bar is stuck to the top right corner of the screen. Any help on that? Thanks indeed!

This is going to be much easier to help you troubleshoot if we can get a link to the snapshot of your workspace. This will allow us to fork it and see what might be causing the issue

Hey Jennifer, thanks for the tip, didn't know that ;) OK, so, I've taken a snapshot so here is the link: https://w.trhou.se/tvhgnml8xp

Hope you can open it, thanks Jen!

OK, I actually fixed the problem by adding some "margin-top" to ".main-nav li"... I wish there were some sort of more "elegant" way but no answer and the problem is fixed, so let's move on! :)
