C#

Problem with the foreach

the foreach is not working.

@foreach (var artist in artists) { }

I'm getting an error that says "a local or parameter 'artist' cannot be declared in this scop because that name is used in an enclosing local scope to define a local or parameter".

and for artists, I'm getting an error that says "the name 'artist does not exist in the current context".

I have no idea what to do.
