Problem with Workspaces --- Delayed for minutes to view changes

I continue to have the issue in which I save everything, click to view and no changes occur.

There are times where I have to wait for 5-7 minutes before I am able to view the changes I made through the port.

This oftentimes makes be think I have made a mistake in my code when really it just has not been updated yet.

This is actually beginning to be quite frustrating.

Is there anything I can do to speed this up? Can I use something else to write my code in to avoid this issue?
