Problems downloading Visual Studio community 2015

I am trying to download Visual Studio community 2015. I am using Windows 8.1- I get near the end and see " Configuring your system, this may take a while" It has said that for over 2 hours and the progress bar does not appear to have moved at all. I can't seem to complete the installation, any suggestions to this?

Others have had the same issue and have solved it by ending a process(es) that has become stuck during the installation, you can read more about it at the below link.

Just in case someone else happens upon this. I had this problem before and I simply needed to disable my antivirus(avast) for the duration of the download. Took a couple days to find that out.
