Problems importing

Trying to bring variables in from the src/code.my.com/git/sales/sales.go file, by declaring:

import (
  "code.my.com/git/sales/sales"
)

The error produced reads:

report.go:5:3: cannot find package "src/code.my.com/git/sales/sales" in any of: /usr/lib/go-1.6/src/src/code.my.com/git/sales/sales (from $GOROOT) /workdir/src/src/code.my.com/git/sales/sales (from $GOPATH)

Absolute path wasn't helpful and adding a .go also didn't help.

Did you run the following code in your terminal?

go get code.my.com/git/sales/sales
