Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Getting Started with Android Setting Up an Android Development Environment for Mac

Problems setting Up Android Development for Mac?

I have recently tried to download the android Development kit So, i could start with the lessons. I have downloaded the Kit and then the FunFacts files and when i Import the files and give it a name, it shows at the directory FunFacts2 at the end. So, i deleted everything and started over. still the same so i changed the directory then the project was building and the gradle sync failed along with SDK issues. does anyone have any advice as to how i can successfully install this environment because if i use the updated android studio it doesn't work

thanks Justin

I had a problem with Gradle following updating to the newest release of Android Studio. See if the link from this post helps you.

I'm on a Mac too, and changing the runProGuard to the code snippet in the link worked for me.
