Problems with Android Emulator

The emulator is SO slow, and I can't find my app to view. I'm using Android 4.4.

It depends on the computer you are running the emulator sometimes takes some time to lunch at the first time, so I recommend just lunch the emulator once and after that you only execute the new changes.

The app is lunched automatically but just be patient and if you're not go to the apps button and you will see a icon with the android icon and most of the time with the name MainActivity.

I know this is an old thread, but check out Genymotion, which usually runs much faster.
