Problems with Eclipse

I downloaded Eclipse for Android development and it works fine, other than the fact that whenever I create a new application the phone does not come up on graphical layout. This is what pops up beneath where the phone should be.

Could not find bool resource matching value0x111000c (resolved name:config_ui_enableFadingMarquee) in current configuration. Exception details are logged in Window> Show View> Error Log

Does anyone know why it does this?

In order to help you could you please answer these questions?

  1. Have you created an Android emulator?
  2. Is the Android emulator running?
  3. Have you tried right-clicking on the Project folder in Eclipse, go down to "Run as", and select "1 Android Application"?
  4. Have you tried opening up the "Error Log" (Window > Show View > Error Log)?

Most likely the problem is with Eclipse and not with your application. Once you answer the questions above, try restarting Eclipse!

I downloaded Android Studio and it seems to work well. Thank you for the help!
