It's not a big deal, but I was wondering why my profile picture looks distorted? The photo was misshapen, so I took it down. Is there another way to upload a pic without the weirdness.
One other thing; what is Github? Is this a place to display what we've learned/built/created in Treehouse?

7,742 PointsGithub is a repository for all types of code and is a universally accepted place to backup your code and make revisions to it. You can follow certain projects other people have created and people can follow your projects. It's a great way to show off what you've built and share it with the world.
As for your profile photo, make sure the avatar you're uploading is a square. A good dimension for it would be 96px by 96px. Make sure you crop it square first as to not distort it with your image editor.
