This attribute 'display:block' means you can see this item. It is opposite to the attribute 'display:none'. HTML has a default setting value: 'display:block' . It means even if you did not set any values here, this item will still be seen. In the future, you will use *.style.display='block' or *.style.display='none' to control which item you want to show by javascript.
