I've used Inkscape on occasion; it's been pretty good in my experience.

Sketch is an awesome app to work with vectors! And do almost everything else, a bit better :)
Here's a list of programs for creating or editing vector graphics:
- Adobe Illustrator CC
- Sketch App
Figma is for sure now dominate among designers. Coming in 2nd again, Sketch fell a bit further behind on 2021 polls. And as of FigCon showing us what is upcoming for Figma, and the release of FigJam, Sketch is going to fall further behind.
Still a very viable and valuable platform to learn.
