Progress bar loading on middle left instead of the middle

Why is my progress bar loading on the center left instead of the center?

You've set the ProgressBar to centre in the parent. From the snippet you've sent me, I'm not quite sure what the parent of the ProgressBar is. However, believe this must be what's causing your progress bar to load on the centre left.

Try swapping out your

// android:layout_centerInParent

with:

android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_centerVertical="true"

and let me know how it goes :)
