10,490 PointsProgress Update From A Lurker
Hello All,
I have primarily been a lurker on this website, but wanted to share my latest project with you. I would not have been able to accomplish this level of professionalism and quality without Team Treehouse. They have provided the right techniques needed to enhance my career at precisely the right moments.

8,800 PointsLooks amazing especially if you started from nothing on here. Few stylistic suggestions:
- A shadow effect on your boxes would really make them pop.
- Creating a bar of a different color at the very top would make that link look less out of place.
- Subtle background texture might be worth looking into, or maybe a lighter gray.
Just my opinion on it, but it does look really good as is. Did you make the back-end for it or do the news articles have to be updated manually?

I originally had a shadow and tried texture, but opted for sticking to a truly flat design (for portfolio diversity reasons). Also, I just couldn't seem to find a good color for the navigation bar besides the purple, I may mess with it more.
The back-end is a custom Wordpress Theme that I made from scratch.
