I've been seeing where project management skills and experience is desired in a lot of job postings. I can see how it would be beneficial to a professional studying these courses. Any plans to add this topic to the course curriculum?

3,828 PointsVery true, but with Treehouse being designed to get you "job ready", I would find it very beneficial. Working in programming or design goes beyond programming and design.

6,094 PointsProject Management is normally not considered "computer science." It's more of a managerial role that requires little programming knowledge. My friend is a project coordinator at Blackberry, he has a Management Information Systems Business degree.

4,370 PointsYes, I feel this would be a good addition to the business section, almost a mandatory one. Being able to deliver on time and with proper organisation is usefull in almost every job and is more and more asked by employer.

552 PointsI want to chime in on this rather dated and seemingly stale topic and add that IT Project Manager roles are a thing, and are somewhat divided and different from standard Project Management roles. In fact, a search of Glassdoor shows many companies are hiring specifically IT Project Managers. I've been involved in projects recently that were unmitigated disasters as far as planning goes. I'm interested in jumping to IT Project Management for the skills and training, but the salary is very nice as well.

Recently I have found myself veering away from coding and pixel pushing and into planning larger scale projects for developers and designers to then create and implement. This is not completely new territory for me however some extra guidance for large to enterprise level projects would be beneficial.
