Properties

In swift 2.0 can somebody please quickly explain the difference between the types of properties mentioned in the courses. Associated properties, stored properties, instance properties (this one is somewhat self-explanatory)? I feel a little overwhelmed by all of the types so any help would be greatly appreciated!
