I'm interested in prototyping a Web App, and I'm wondering if there are framework alternatives to bootstrap or foundation that are specific or best suited for mobile apps. Also, are there convincing reasons to stick with android or ios platforms instead of a non-native web app? Thanks Mike

6,400 PointsThere's a great framework that work well with AngularJS called Ionic Framework but unfortunately it's still in alpha and it's not advisable to use it in a production project. After you develop your app using Ionic + Angular, you will have to use something like PhoneGap/Cordova to wrap it into a native app that could be installed from the App Store or Play Store.
Otherwise, you could go with [jQuery Mobile](jquerymobile.com) and other frameworks, but when it comes to performance for sure native apps wins the battle and at the end it depends on your actual needs.
