15,419 PointsAn important skill for a front end web developer is to be able to create a functioning front end with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript based off of a high fidelity mockup (like a Photoshop file). The goal is to turn the design into something that actually works.

However I would highly recommend that you first master HTML and CSS before thinking about turning a PSD into webpage.

Courses Plus Student 918 PointsThanks Tony,i have learned HTML & CSS very well and a basic knowledge of JAVASCRIPT.But i am confused what will next?Is it PSD to HTML or JQUERY?

24,934 PointsVery good question. If you would like my advice, I would suggest you to go ahead and do the PSD to HTML course on Udemy as it adds more to the mastery of HTML and CSS. Once you know how to do that then you can go ahead and expand your knowledge on Javascript and jQuery and work on more complex websites that require a lot of behavior and interaction from the user.

I thought i need not learn PSD to HTML because i thought i will be a master on HTML & CSS by practising.I thought right now it will be better for me to learn jQuery and create several websites with HTML,CSS.Am i right?Already i have created a website please visit www.dumurful.com
