Psych::AliasesNotEnabled: Alias parsing was not enabled.

After creating the app and launching the local server, I'm getting the following error screen when hitting localhost:3000:

Psych::AliasesNotEnabled: Alias parsing was not enabled. To enable it, pass aliases: true to Psych::load or Psych::safe_load

Google searches I've done are all a little too complicated for my skill level considering this is my first Ruby on Rails app. Any help would appreciated.
