public final or final public

Does it matter if you put the access modifier first. Which is recommend? In the video example I see the below code;

public final int MAX_PEZ = 12; final private String characterName;

either way works ... but generally, you should put the access modifier (private public, protected ...) first ... for readability ... I have in many cases ran into compile errors because I had the wrong access classification. Having the access modifier first helps tracking the problem.
