17,730 PointsAre you looking on your FTP for your web server, on your local server, we need to know where you are looking? According to how the server is configured your root may either be public_html, www, or something else. Also, according to your hosting you may not have root access, in which case when you log in you will already be inside of said root folder.

1,210 PointsHi Andy, i am new on this. my Host is godaddy, i have my domain already which is kakaordor.info and i am following the 5 mins wordPress quick install. On the right pane of filezilla all i can see is some php scripts, wp-content, wp-admin and so on. The tutorial made mention a public html fine and i can't find it. Am i to manually create it as a directory or what.

17,730 PointsIf you are seeing the wp-content folder then you are already inside the root folder (root folder = public_html ). So no worries about the public_html folder and it sounds like you already have WordPress installed so you should be good to go.
