Pure JavaScript learning tips

Good day all. Anyone mind sharing some JavaScript learning tips on how to become better at it? I am focusing on pure javaScript not jquery at this moment. All suggestions are welcome and thank you.

Honestly the best way to become better at it is to use it in real life projects. If you don't have projects to work on, make some up. The more you use it, the better you'll get.
