If an exception gets raised in the function, Python never successfully registers the function, so it'll give you an error about the function not existing. In this case, your exception was trying to use randint instead of random.randint.

Hi

Try this:

import random

def random_num( num ):
  return random.randint(1,num)

Thank you guys. :)
