What is the best language to focus on for the next generation in programming , Python or Ruby? Ruby/Rails is a hot commodity currently, and a lot of start-ups use Ruby. Python is much more stable, and has more users???????

16,285 PointsI am learning Python, and even got a job as a junior developer 3 weeks ago.
It was explained to me that Python and Ruby are not all that different. If you know one of them, learning the other, if needed, should not be too difficult.
Maybe try and see what has more job offerings in your area?
