Attn: Thanks to all you awesome students who have volunteered, signups are closed! Keep an eye out in your Treehouse email for your invitation!
Hello Developers!
Our first Drupal course, focusing on Drupal 7 is almost ready and we are needing a handful of you to take it for a spin.
The QA process is a time for people to spot any glaring mistakes in content, graphics, or teachers notes, clarification on quiz questioning, broken links, and any other feedback.
The course is due to go live next week so QA should be complete with any feedback done by Sunday, September 6. Please use the 'Content Feedback' buttons at the end of each video to provide feedback, and avoid discussing it in the forums until we've had an opportunity to fix any goofs!
If you're interested, let us know below. If you've been selected, we'll send you and email to let you know!

5,223 PointsHi michael7williams!
This is the first of at least two Drupal courses for D7. We know that D8 is releasing soon, but we also know that most Drupal shops will continue to use D7 for the foreseeable future. We want to ensure that Treehouse students are prepared for jobs within the current market.
D8 is going to have some really amazing features and great changes. We will definitely be revisiting a course after it releases. For now, we feel focusing on a tool that is widely used in the industry is going to best serve our students!

9,638 PointsGreat! I understand about D8.
I've ran through the majority of the course. The only real crutches were getting stuck on the first sections badge page (reported in the feedback), and the second to last quiz in the module development section.
I'm posting here because I noticed another error besides the one I already submitted when I ran through it again. I can't seem to pull the feedback page back up after finishing a node, so hopefully you can pass this along.
The question: 'If my module is named 'my_feature' and I want to create a menu item in it, the function should I create in my 'my_feature.module' file would be: '
Should say 'the function i should create'. The question could actually use rewording imo.
I still have the theming section to go through (I skipped ahead a section), so i'll continue and end my QA run through tomorrow.
After viewing the course i'm excited to see more Drupal on Treehouse, especially revolving around the more advanced topics in module development and theming. Thanks for letting me participate!

3,284 PointsI'm interested! I'm a pretty experienced Drupal dev. I'm comfortable with PHP and have built custom modules and custom themes as well as made site and content updates from the admin panel.

9,638 PointsI'm interested and looking forward to the course.
I've been working with Drupal 7 professionally for about a year now. I've developed simple custom modules as needed, themed, know the file structure, installed and work with core and contrib modules.. Haven't done anything crazy like creating the next Views though..
I'm hoping you guys will help teach me that in a more advanced course later on..? :) Also, any chance of a D8 course?
Anyway, see my Treehouse profile for my LinkedIn - it shows my Drupal experience.
Regards,
Mike
