Had to delete my response. The only way I could remove myself as best answer. This could be something the Teamtreehouse should fix. If you click on best answer in error click a second time to remove the best answer.

Ah, to reply without placing answer, the add comment is a way to accomplish, however I understand that if you click to answer when meant to click comment there is no way of reverting or changing with deletion. #FeatureRequest !
