Question about a Photoshop student licence

Hi,

I recently started learning here at treehouse and I find all the content informational and inspiring. I have heard that having knowledge of photoshop is a good thing to have on your resumé as a front end developer.

I found that a licence is very expensive. My question is if i can apply for a student license with an education at treehouse.

Hi Boy,

I think that it has to be a recognised education institution. I purchased the Adobe Master Collection CS5 when I was enrolled on an Open University Degree Course.

I stopped the OU when they almost tripled their course prices, as it put it out of reach for the person who was doing the courses as a hobby.

I think the important line is:

"University or college — accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study*"

I had to provide proof of enrolment in the Open University.

Thanks for the quick response.

I have read the information provided and i think i will aply and provide a copy of my payment plan to prove that i enrolled with Treehouse.

The investment of 20 euro´s a mont for a compleate Adobe Creative Cloud package with Photoshop and 34 other programs seems like a good price to me.

Boy Buijsman , Unfortunately you will find that Treehouse will not work for an Adobe academic discount. Treehouse is not a university or college and does not grant any type of degrees.

If you just want Photoshop, you should check out the Photoshop Photography Program. It's only 9.99/mth and gives you Photoshop, Lightroom, Typekit, Cloud storage, and I think Muse as well.
