Question about Disemvowel.py

This is my code;

def disemvowel(word):

vowel = ["a", "e", "i", "o", "u"]
if vowel.upper() or vowel.lower() == True: 
    word.remove(vowel)




return word

Error: AttributeError: 'list' object has no attribute 'upper'

Please help!

So we cannot use "remove()" in this problem?
