Hi all,
I signed up google analytics for my webiste which used wordpress, I tried to put the code on footer and the anytics website was still showing as "Tracking installled" and I tried to put the code on header but still showing "Tracking installled". if everything goes well it has show "Data Reciveing"
Also I tried to use some existing Plugins to be able link to my google analytics account, even though I am logged into my google analytics it says "unable to authenticate on google" . I like the traditional way of putting the code on the footer but How can I get it to work?

It looks like it is installed now in the header and it looks correct. If you just put it in it takes at least a 24hr cycle generally before google has any data to show you.
Most themes do have a place to put this script but if you can't find any options and are having difficulty with a plugin you can always add it to the footer.php in your current theme before the ending body tag.
I have had trouble in the past with that authenticate dashboard plug in because of google apps. It should have an option to put in just the "UA-37525074-1" only instead. Probably a check mark you uncheck to get the input box.
