Question about upcoming Angular course

I'm curious about the upcoming Angular course that will be released in November. Will this course cover Angular 1.x or 2? I see in the brief summary of the course some concepts like $scope, controllers, ng-show etc., which I've heard will be discontinued for Angular2. I haven't been able to find any sources that say when Angular2 comes out exactly except "..the consensus is that version 2.0 will be finalized late 2015.". Any teamtreehouse insiders know?

Aye, I'm hoping it is as well. Hard to find decent sources of information on Angular2 at this point because of it being in alpha stage. I did however get an email from the team over at egghead.io with their new Angular2 screen cast, https://egghead.io/series/angular-2-fundamentals?utm_source=drip&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=free-angular-2-screencasts&__s=dfaermv6zdf3mmzom3b5 should hold you over until treehouse releases theirs lol.
