991 Pointsquestion @staff: why is teamtreehouse on wordpress?
Hello @staff,
I see that teamtreehouse runs on wordpress.
But why wouldn't you code the whole site yourself? Since you are coding experts it would be a piece of cake for you, and as far as I understand you would have much more control over the site, (plus a much faster site?).
Sorry if the question is silly, I am just a beginner ;-) Would be very courious about your answer!
Cheers from Italy

991 Pointsok David you're right, only the blog...

Personally I like coding everything up by hand. It gives me a sense of pride, but Wordpress is very powerful and probably saved them a lot of time so they could focus on the content not the site itself.
