Question two order of operations

Can somebody please help me with question two of the order of operations quiz, I've tried to work everything out using a standard and scientific calculator but still nothing.

I'm having trouble with the %s I don't fully understand how to work that out. I have gone through the video a couple times but that doesn't seem to help.

The "%" symbol is the operator for "modulus" or "remainder". If your calculator doesn't do this directly, it's the remainder left after a division. For examples, 10 % 3 = 1 and 10 % 7 = 3.
