I had a lot of issues trying to work around ruby on rails. I used nitrous, windows, ubuntu back to windows, nitrous again, and finally, I am back to using ubuntu with virtualbox, which you can find through google if you are interested in downloading the virtualbox. However, I did find a link that did help me get past the customizing forms in build a simple ruby on rails. Here is the link: Ruby on Rails if you are interested in giving it a shot? Although I did not end up with rails 3.2.1, I ended up with rails 3.2.16, which has been working great, for me!

Here are a few links that you can check out, and decide which one you want to use on your Windows machine. If you decide to go with nitrous, I would use Ruby on Rails link, I posted here to help you set up your ruby on rails through nitrous. The Ruby on Rails is the one I used to set up on my VirtualBox using Ubuntu Desktop as my operating system, and I've had no problems since setting it up. The Rails Installer is for Windows.
