Rails Developer

must i know javascript and jquery in order to be a Rails Developer? I know html and css layouts (web designer)

Hello there! Rails is a web development framework written in Ruby. There is no web development without Javascript. Rails is just a framework to handle your backend but what about front-end? I'd suggest you master JavaScript and try to learn React and Angular or maybe either of 'em. In 2018, HTML and CSS aren't enough to get you through. I hope it helped!
