Python Python Basics Functions and Looping Raise an Exception

raising value error

not sure what is wrong with my code. Any idea please?

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
    if product_idea < 3:
        raise ValueError
    return product_idea + "inator"

product_idea is a string.

How do you check how many letters are in a string?

Let me know if that hint doesn't do the trick ;)

I managed to fix it. I had added an article in front of "ValueError", but I still don't fully understand how correct one problem solved two problems.
