random number

In my solution this also worked for generating the random number between the two given numbers, is there a fault in my logic and was i just lucky for the 10 times i ran it?

var randomNumber = Math.floor( Math.random()*(topNumber-bottomNumber))+1;

It didn't seem to work for me, unfortunately...
