react-hot-loader/index.js' is not a loader (must have normal or pitch function)

After running npm start this error appears and the dev server cannot start:

/node_modules/react-hot-loader/index.js' is not a loader (must have normal or pitch function)

Found the solution:

You'll need to add /webpack to the .js loaders

loaders: ['react-hot-loader/webpack', 'babel-loader']
