Recommended Project Management Applications for Freelancers/Small Businesses?

Since going Freelance a few months ago I have had finding a Project Management Tool on my to-do list for some time, I have looked into quite a few now but seem to find it quite difficult to commit to one.

Ideally, I would love to find an all in one solution which offers Project Management, Invoicing/Accounting and CRM.

There is quite a nice article on the Captera Blog (http://blog.capterra.com/free-open-source-project-management-software/).

From this I'm leaning towards Freedcamp and using Wave Apps for Invoicing and Accounting. Freedcamp integrates with Google Apps for Work which is a nice bonus.

I was just interested in seeing if anyone had any recommendations and swear by a current solution which they use?

There are several really good ones, I think it really depends what business, and how scaleable your solution needs to be. ASANA, is really good they have a lot of nifty features and their solution is available on most devices.. I've found it's particularly good for groups that work on multiple projects. AHA! is another Great Platform It is more on the product management side of things, One thing to note is that their GANT chart interface is pretty solid, you can set dependencies for your milestones, this lets you see what team needs to finish what in order to move forward, and it also can be useful to help identify choke points in productive flow. If you use wordpress there are several really good plugins that have integrated billing and CRMS, I can suggest some if you are intent on adding those types of things.

Hi Scott, Thanks for the info! Which WP ones would you recommend? Do you think having a CRM WP Plugin could affect the sites performance? I guess you could always install the Plugin on a separate WP Install away from your personal site?
