Redirecting a domain name

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to redirect a client's old webpage to a new one I just developed for the client. I did not develop the first website. Does anyone have any idea how I can redirect people who visit the old site to the new one I just created for her? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, ~Zach

Do you have access to the Old website ? If so, simply put in a script tag at the top of the HTML index of the old site to change the location to your new website:

<script> window.location.href = 'http://<yournewdomain>'; </script>

This is not recommended for searchengines and you should probably get the registrar of the domain to point it to your new site / server

Unfortunately I do not have access to the old website. The last Web designer has been rather uncooperative, and actually designed the website in photoshop.

Ask your customer to get the domain pointed, surely the domain will belong to his company / business.
