Courses Plus Student 8,447 PointsRefactor Challenge part 2
For the second part of the refactor challenge using functions, I took a crack at it but I had a feeling I would have never gotten it. After watching the solution video, I was right.

It sounds like you're at one of those crossroads I find myself at all the time. You think you're not good enough of you'll never remember all of this you're being taught.
But I'm afraid you're just going to have to practice, because I know my memory isn't the best and few of us have a photographic memory and can take in everything they are taught first time.
But if you can take heart from one thing it's that Treehouse has your back and the answer you're looking for his either in the video and can be applied from the video. So take the time to look again at the video or videos and hopefully the lightbulbs will switch on. Sometimes that's all it needs. :-)

Courses Plus Student 8,447 PointsHey Jonathan Grieve Thanks for the encouragement. But it's also important to know your own limitations. And after looking at the solution video, I knew it was beyond my scope of understanding. And there's no shame in that. I didn't mean I was going to give up.
I also think I need to change my thinking about Web development and the scope of what is possible.
Thanks again.
